The Beat Brothers Band is a young, energetic, and creative group based on the musical partnership of brothers and songwriters Mikey McCabe and Danny McCabe. The McCabe brothers write the songs, then the whole band performs together in an ever-growing list of venues across Florida and beyond. Capable of performing as both an acoustic duo and a full band, The Beat Brothers Band strives to create a sound that embodies energetic fun, love, and positivity. The full band includes Mikey McCabe on lead vocals and bass guitar, Danny McCabe on co-lead vocals and guitar, Joey Barrett on keyboards and vocals, and Gus D'Angelo on drums. They play a wide variety of music including everything from their new originals to classics by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Marvin Gaye, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Van Halen, and much more! They have performed in various venues alongside various artists. In May 2015 lead singer Mikey McCabe had the honor of sharing the stage with legendary band The Beach Boys in front of thousands in Jacksonville, Fl. Both Grammy nominated Nashville Songwriter Lathan Hudson and world-renowned singer/saxophonist Kenny Cohen have praised the brothers' original compositions, proclaiming "'Just With You' is a hit!" And that's just the beginning!
Formed in 2014, The Beat Brothers Band (Previously known as The Pendletones) formed through the McCabe brothers' interest in writing, performing, and recording music. They found the best musicians around, and went on to win multiple Battle of The Bands competitions in high schools and colleges. They then began to spread out, building up a reputation in places such as Orlando, Oviedo, Cocoa Beach, and Melbourne. They have played countless shows in venues all around central Florida including CFE arena, Dr. Philips Performing Arts Center, Ever Bank Field, Juice n Java Cafe, and Old Town, and have begun a recording career as well. On July 13th, 2017; The Beat Brothers Band released their all original studio album: "Listen to the Beat." It features multiple different eclectic styles, themes, and sounds, including an epic rock symphony finale. This album was well received and is available for streaming on iTunes and Spotify. Now the Beat Brothers Band is excited to bring you their newest album, "That Summer Feelin"! Released on June 21st, 2018, this album evokes the fun and carefree nature of Summer with 7 new original songs including fast rockers and tender ballads. From auditoriums to the recording studio, from coffee shops and popular clubs to arenas with The Beach Boys; The Beat Brothers Band always gives it their all and hopes to play a show near you!
